The journey continues...

The journey away from facebook, that is. After the latest changes in facebook’s policies, especially, regarding photos and the use of those, I stepped up my efforts to move away from the social network. With the moving of my last photo albums from facebook to here, I’m one big and important step further.

Regular readers of my blog might remember that I moved more and more content and fuctionality from facebook to my own website during the last years, simply because I’m not comfortable with facebook’s handling of privacy, it’s usage of user data and now what it does or plans to do with the users’ photos. I will keep my facebook account but all my content will be on my own website and just be shared to facebook - which gives facebook much less power over my stuff.
